In December 2015, 19 year old Joshua Williams pled guilty to charges stemming from the protests that followed Michael Brown Jr.'s death a year earlier. He was sentenced to eight years in prison, and organizer Kayla Reed recounts listening "to a prosecutor say "we need to make an example of him so others know we won't tolerate this behavior." Josh Williams was a teenager. He was and still is loved by his family and community. We are asking those who share a belief in the ideals of justice, democracy, and community to take a moment to be the example of what radical love and support looks like. Write to Josh. Send money. Remind him that he is loved.
